Gay Pride Rainbow 30" Parasol - Petals & Fans Pattern

This parasol is 30" in diameter featuring the ROYGBIV Gay Pride rainbow flag. The mandala starts with bright red at the center and gradually fades through the ROYGBIV rainbow until it gets to dark purple at the edge.

I've used a pattern of my own design that has eight very large flower petals that begin at the center and extend 15" each to the edge. In the last 10 rounds I've added my favorite style of fans between the petals. This parasol is highly effective, offering the most coverage from the sun of all the parasols I make.  

This yarn is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. This certification means the yarn has been tested for harmful substances that may occur in harvesting, processing, or dyeing the yarn. Cotton is a remarkably dirty crop to work with and while OEKO-TEX isn't perfect, it is better.

This parasol has 8 arms and a manual opener. You'll find a steel main shaft with a curved purple plastic handle and fittings for the top and arm tips. Please take care to ensure the arm tips aren't caught in the mandala before using the automatic opener.

While it won't keep the rain off your head, this parasol will diminish the sun's rays and help bring whimsy to your life.
