Purple and Cream 30" Parasol - High Coverage pattern OOAK

This parasol is 30" in diameter featuring a custom colorway mixed by me. It begins with an off-white cream color at the center which fades through the lightest purple into a deeper warm purple, and then light pink at the edge. Did I keep track of the yarns I used? Of course not! So that makes it one-of-a-kind. 

I've used a pattern of my own design that has eight wedges extending from points at the center to wide, high-coverage, shade-providing broad wedges at the edge. Between the wedges are small fans at the very edge. 

This yarn is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. This certification means the yarn has been tested for harmful substances that may occur in harvesting, processing, or dyeing the yarn. Cotton is a remarkably dirty crop to work with and while OEKO-TEX isn't perfect, it is better.

This parasol has 8 arms and a manual opener. You'll find an aluminum main shaft with a curved purple plastic handle and fittings for the top and arm tips. Please take care to ensure the arm tips aren't caught in the mandala before using the automatic opener.

While it won't keep the rain off your head, this parasol will diminish the sun's rays and help bring whimsy to your life.
