This parasol is 30" in diameter featuring a colorway that begins with a pinkish purple at the center which fades through white into teal, light blue, and is a medium blue at the edge.
This pattern of concentric 8-pointed stars is one I found online and decided I should add picots at every single join. (If you're a crocheter and you just laughed at me, thank you.) So the hundreds of picots make this pattern a little unique. I'm not sure I'll do it again.
This yarn is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. This certification means the yarn has been tested for harmful substances that may occur in harvesting, processing, or dyeing the yarn. Cotton is a remarkably dirty crop to work with and while OEKO-TEX isn't perfect, it is better.
This parasol has 8 arms and a manual opener. You'll find an aluminum main shaft with a curved blue plastic handle and fittings for the top and arm tips. Please take care to ensure the arm tips aren't caught in the mandala before using the automatic opener.
While it won't keep the rain off your head, this parasol will diminish the sun's rays and help you look more whimsical.
