Trans Pride Flag Oyster Amigurumi LGBTQIA2S+ Velvet Cutie
Trans Pride Flag Oyster Amigurumi LGBTQIA2S+ Velvet Cutie
Come out of your shell and show your pride in the trans community with this charming handmade oyster amigurumi! This transgender pride flag was created in 1999 by Monica Helms and is five stripes in sequence: blue, pink, white, pink, blue. The blue and pink represent the standard AFAB and AMAB baby colors with white in the center for those in transition or questioning their genders. I really feel like oysters are the ideal symbol of queerness because we were always queer, we just didn't recognize it within ourselves immediately.
The oyster shell is crocheted with a soft velvet blend yarn in grey. This oyster boasts a trans pride flag pearl made with bamboo yarn. The pearl is securely attached to the oyster and cannot be removed. 2 black plastic safety eyes are firmly attached to the pearl so it can gaze out at you.
Measuring just 4" in diameter, this cute oyster amigurumi is perfect for decorating your desk, bookshelf, or anywhere you want to add a pop of color and positivity.
